when Safeco turned out to be the best company to cover for a 10-unit sand-and-gravel hauler. Safeco saved the client 17
percent in premium and provided better coverage.
The two other companies Graham quoted couldn’t come close.

- The account must
have no more than 15 power units
Hauling must be the
primary business
Coal, debris and
hazardous hauling is ineligible
Truckers who will
haul a variety of commodities for different customers without contracts are not eligible for this program
Drivers must be at
least 25 years old, have commercial driver licenses and have no more than two minor and no major violations reported on their
MVRs
- 75 percent of the heavy vehicles must be no more than 20 years old
